Anastiscia Chantler-Lang

DON'T JUST EXIST WITHIN A SPACE, BECOME YOUR SPACE

THROUGH BOLD AND STUNNING EXPRESSIONS!

Hailing from Toronto Canada, a self taught artist with an M.A. in Psychology, she lives in Lake Tahoe with her husband Greg Lang who is a home remodel and general contractor. She has lived in Canada, Japan, Cambodia, USA and has traveled extensively working in fashion and handbag design. In her mix of emotional realism and contemporary flare, she uses pastels, color pencil, marker, ink and acrylics to convey poignant messages. The majority of her work is expressed through vibrant, edgy colors, for she believes, "Bold colors are the arousing enthusiasm of life."

In 2008, the world as Anastiscia knew came crashing down through Lyme Disease, a serious and debilitating disease that if left untreated becomes life threatening. On going treatment and encouragement brought her creativity back to life. With the sales of her artwork she donates to the treatment and needs of Lyme Disease patients in crisis.

Her custom work can found in Lake Tahoe Galleries CA, Palm Springs Galleries CA, in the Capital Hill Building in Washington DC, and in private home collections. She has won Traditional Artist award in the Figures category at Fusion Gallery, Palm Springs CA, 2015,2016,2017 and Honorable Mention in 2018. She has won Honorable Mention for her piece "Cocktail Hour" at Las Lagunas Gallery in Laguna Beach CA, 2018. Her art was featured in a Facebook commercial for Hyundai Motors called, "A Better  Drive" in 2017, which also supported Lyme Disease Awareness.

Her work is thought provoking, designed to bring out inner spirit, passion and strength. Every piece holds its own story.
